Edwin Blue, Chief Executive Officer of IRA Services, Inc. and its subsidiary IRA Services Trust Company, was served with a lawsuit for fraud in the Superior Court of California for the County of San Mateo on May 7, 2019.
Every attempt was made to serve Mr. Blue at his offices in San Carlos California, but the Process Server was told that Mr. Blue is rarely in the office.
When the Process Server arrived at Mr. Blue’s home to deliver the Summons, he was met by his daughter, Carol Blue-Hitchens. Ms. Blue-Hitchens refused to let Mr. Blue come to the door, and according to the Process Server, could be heard screaming numerous obscenities at Mr. Blue.
The summons document filed with the San Mateo County Court details the experience:
“she appears to be an evil woman”.
The Process Server made several attempts to serve Mr. Blue, who did everything possible to avoid being served, until finally he was Sub-Served on the person in charge at IRA Services.
